The Belmont Dramatic Club is producing Ken Ludwig’s “Moon Over Buffalo” in Spring 2027 and we are looking for a director!

Call for Director Proposals
The Belmont Dramatic Club is seeking a director for our spring production of Ken Ludwig’s hilarious 1995 comedy, “Moon Over Buffalo.” Our 123rd season continues with another peek behind the stage curtain and an insider look at the ways theatre (and life) can surprise us.

Show Synopsis
“Moon Over Buffalo” centers on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars in the 1950s. While performing repertory theatre in Buffalo, New York, they receive word that they might have one last shot at stardom. A famous Hollywood director is coming to see their matinee, and he might cast them in his next production! Unfortunately for George and Charlotte, everything that could go wrong does go wrong… As they say, hilarity ensues.

Auditions will take place in December 2026 (Dates TBD), and rehearsals begin February 2, 2027. Performances will be April 10, 11, 17, and 18, 2027. All events take place at the beautiful Belmont Town Hall Auditorium.

The Director and other production staff for this show are volunteer positions.
